Price Banding
Our pricing rewards larger mixed orders. Add more qualifying items to your basket and the whole basket automatically moves into the relevant lower price band.
How RPC Price Bands Work
It is important to say first that if you are buying one or two laptops, you will not get the same level of discount as someone buying a much larger quantity. The price bands are designed to reward larger mixed trade orders.
Every machine may be different in some small way, even where it is the same make, model or CPU. We list machines individually where needed so you can see specification, condition and any notes before buying.
For ease, the site may group similar machines together by make, model or CPU, but when buying, each item is still treated as an individual stock item.
Discount Bands
The bands below apply to qualifying products, excluding hard drives and SSDs unless otherwise stated.
Add between 1 and 10 qualifying items to your basket and your basket will reflect the price shown in the 1 to 10 group.
Add one more item and your whole basket changes to the 11 to 25 pricing group, including items already added.
Add between 26 and 50 qualifying items in total and your whole basket moves into this price group.
Add between 51 and 75 qualifying items in total and all qualifying basket items use this lower pricing level.
Add between 76 and 100 qualifying items in total and your basket moves into the 76 to 100 pricing group.
Add between 101 and 150 qualifying items in total and all qualifying basket items use this volume price band.
Add over 150 qualifying items in total and your basket moves into the best displayed price band. On average, this currently works out at over 82% off the single unit price.
Make An Offer
Even with these discounts in place, you may sometimes want to pay a different price for some items in your basket. You can make us an offer.
In the last column of your basket there is a box labelled Offer. It is pre-filled with the banding price, but you can change this to the price that suits you.
